OUR CHURCH
The First Baptist Church of Cañon City, Colorado offers a blend of traditional and contemporary worship with a warm heart. Folks from all walks of life and backgrounds come together for a regular time of worship, learning and fellowship.
In that diversity we find strengh to journey together in response to Christ. We are a big enough to get the job done and small enough to care.
Our main Worship Service is on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and for our young friends, there is Children's Church for ages newborn through 1st grade.

OUR PASTOR
Larry Weaver has been with First Baptist since 2007. He and his wife Joann have lived in Cañon most of their lives and are parents of two sons, Andrew and Zane, and they have 5 grandchildren.
Although Larry serves in a pastoral role, we feel that ALL of our members are called to be ministers. (2 Corinthians 3:6)
